Prabhas lettuce It was announced in 2020 when it was a world of difference with the pandemic. It took more than two years for the makers to finally get a peek into the world the team had been working on all this time. Director Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, a highly sought after director in India, has been very mum about the film, but with the teaser release, the cat is finally out of the bag.

While the filmmakers released teasers in the middle of the night, Salaar’s makers chose a somewhat odd time. The teaser was released at 5.12 am on 6 July. The reason given is that the boat of KGF protagonist Rocky bhai (Yash) sank at that exact time, which also indicates that there is a common universe between the two films.

Salaar is reminiscent of the KGF universe, and it wouldn’t be surprising if they were both set in the same universe. It has the same heroism which we saw in the Kannada blockbuster. The teaser features Tinnu Anand surrounded by several men with machine guns. However, the veteran actor is unfazed. In “plain English,” he says that, of course, a lion, a tiger, or an elephant is dangerous. The dialogue is cut to Prabhas scenes. Tinnu then adds that but these animals are not that dangerous when they are in Jurassic Park because there is an apex predator. Good. dinosaur. The teaser also contains a shot of Prithviraj as the menacing villain. Another important reveal from the teaser is that there is a Salaar sequel because the upcoming movie is called Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire.

Salar marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam star Prithviraj. Other actors in the film are Shruti Haasan, Gajapati Babu, Eshwari Rao and Suraiya Reddy. Hombale Films, which financed two parts of KGF and Kantara, produced the film. KGF composer Ravi Basrur once again collaborated with Prashanth Neel for the film.

Salaar will be released on September 28 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

After Salaar, Prabhas will return to the big screens with another big budget movie, Project K. Although the Baahubali series catapulted him to stardom, Prabhas was unable to produce a huge hit after the SS Rajamouli films. Saaho and Shyam’s Radhe AdeporushCreated on huge budgets, it received lukewarm reviews from critics and audiences. Adipurush has been on the receiving end of the hate and all eyes are on Salaar now.
