Something is brewing in Buffalo with Stefon Diggs, Josh Allen and Coach Sean McDermott. After Diggs was reportedly absent from the mandatory minicamp and then coming to the team facility and leaving, questions came up.
At the time, McDermott said Diggs’ situation was “extremely concerning”. Since then, the media has been trying to get to the bottom of what is now a huge NFL story.
Josh Allen said on “Around The NFL” that there was no need to talk about him anymore and that the media blew the story. However, fans on Reddit squarely blamed McDermott’s feet for this.

“Your head coach is a blaster. He started the fire,” one fan wrote.
Other NFL fans got involved, going after McDermott for his comments that they thought poured gas on the fire.
Most agree that had it not been for McDermott’s comments, the situation would not have blown up the way it did. Some have even said the Bills can’t win the Super Bowl this season with that issue hanging over their heads.
For many, it’s too bad to wait for Buffalo next season. With any reason given for Diggs’ absence now being pondered, there’s still no clear idea why exactly.
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III said this may have had something to do with Diggs’ lack of goals in the playoff loss to the Bengals, but no one knows for sure.
While it appears from the outside at least that Allen and Diggs are on good terms now, many wonder what will happen the first time Diggs doesn’t get a goal count when and how he wants. Will it explode again?
For many, it’s a ticking time bomb that could threaten to ruin the Bills’ season, and no doubt all eyes will be on Josh Allen and Diggs in Week 1 when they take on Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets.
