Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas isn’t shy when he reveals some of the nitty gritty details of how the league operates when called upon. Recently, the former Washington Wizards All-Star revealed the financial hardships of retired NBA players due to “hard billing”.
The three-time All-Star revealed that difficult bills, which include paying for homes and cars, supporting family members and paying for other real estate, have a lot to do with the reasons they struggle financially.
“When an NBA player retires, we’re just anybody who makes a lot of money and then it stops like that,” said Arenas.
