A party statement said the new national executive members are Pandey Sanjay Kumar, Dipak Prakash, Satish Punia and Sanjay Jaiswal who are former BJP presidents of Telangana, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Bihar, respectively.
Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nada on Saturday appointed 10 party leaders, including several former heads of government units, to the organisation’s national executive. A party statement said the new national executive members are Pandey Sanjay Kumar, Deepak Prakash, Satish Punia and Sanjay Jaiswal, who are former BJP presidents of Telangana, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Bihar respectively.
Suresh Kashyap, Vishnudu Sai, and Ashwani Sharma, who headed the party in Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Punjab, respectively, before being replaced by incumbents, are among the other appointees. The party statement said BJP leader Chhattisgarh Dharamlal Kaushik, former BJP president of Andhra Pradesh Somo Virago and Rajasthani leader Kerudi Lal Meena were other members.
Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan are due to head to the General Assembly elections later this year.
