Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay foundation for Rs 6,100 crore development projects in Telangana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Warangal in Telangana to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for the Rs 6,100-plus crore development work in the state on Saturday. He is scheduled to visit the famous Bhadrakali temple before attending the events and will address a public meeting.

PM Modi took to Twitter and wrote, “Departing for Warangal for a program where we will inaugurate or lay the foundation stone for development works worth more than Rs. 6,100 crores. These works cover various sectors ranging from highways to railways. They will benefit the people of Telangana.”

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for a railway trolley manufacturing unit in Kazipet, which will be developed at a cost of Rs 500 crore. An earlier official statement said that the modernized manufacturing unit will enhance the vehicle manufacturing capacity and help generate local employment and develop auxiliary units in neighboring areas.

This will be Prime Minister Modi’s third visit to the polling state this year. Visited earlier in January and April.
