The Oregon-based sporting goods manufacturer Nike is constantly working on new designs and advanced features to expand its already extensive inventory and meet the needs of contemporary as well as future generations. The brand’s GT Series, which is specifically designed for future generations of athletes, effectively validates the claim.
The Zoom GT Jump silhouette is an important part of the series. Earlier this year, the sneaker community welcomed the second version of the shoe, which will arrive with a new “Alpha Wave” make-up. This colorway of the newly developed silhouette will be wrapped in a Mica Green/Bright Crimson-Jade Ice-Industrial Blue-Light Lemon Twist-Sail color scheme.
The new Zoom GT Jump 2 “Alpha Wave” shoes are set to enter the sneaker market on Friday, July 28, 2023, according to Sneaker News. These shoes will be offered in men’s size options at $180 per pair. Nike fans and other interested users can purchase these sneakers from both online and offline Nike stores and a large number of associated retailers.

In 2021, Nike Basketball unveiled a larger-than-ever (GT) version, which served as an experimental hub. To accommodate future generations of athletes, the most technologically advanced shoes on the market have been developed by the design team at Swoosh.
This advanced basketball set features three designs: Air Zoom GT Cut, Air Zoom GT Run, and Air Zoom GT Jump, all of which focus on the types of moves different athletes use in different situations.
Nikola Jokic donned the entire Zoom GT Jump on his way to winning his first NBA Championship and MVP in the Finals. The second installment in the Beaverton brand’s Jump series, first seen in April, will officially debut in July 2023.
The Greater Than (GT) series is featured on the Swoosh website as follows:
“The future of basketball is nowhere, faster and more efficient. Players have to cut faster, run faster and jump higher than ever before to create the break they will need to compete at a high level. Through precision engineering of fit, ride and traction, Nike Basketball’s Greater Series aims to To deliver measurable benefits to athletes who use their speed, speed or heading ability to gain an advantage and go beyond what is possible.”
The traditionally styled mesh upper is now picked up in a supportive gray nubuck combination with TPU “Jade Ice” structural reinforcements and a color-matched midsole, significantly reducing sidewall height. Furthermore, the multicolored design features a bright splash of “Mica Green” on the puff collar and tongue and tread tab underneath, along with a discreet placement of “Industrial Blue” around the upper tongue.
Swooshes are embroidered across the midfoot in crimson red, while the visible sole unit, which houses a Zoom Air front pouch and Nike React stretch, tests in bright white.
The recently unveiled Zoom GT Jump 2 “Alpha Wave” will be available later this month, so stay tuned. Visit the official Nike website and download the SNKRS app to get on-time alerts if your readers are worried about missing out on the launch.
