The former BJP President of Bihar also said that about 60% of the JD-U leaders are in contact with the BJP as they were not happy with Nitish Kumar’s decision to join Mahagathbandan. (Image file: News18 Hindi)
This statement was made by BJP leader Sanjay Jaiswal and could be an attempt to influence the Bihar government led by Nitish Kumar.
Ex-BJP Bihar President Sanjay Jaiswal has claimed that 40 percent of MLAs from JD-U under Lallan Singh might join the RJD and make Tejashwi Yadav Chief Minister of Bihar.
Lallan Singh is the JD-U National President.
BJP leader Sanjay Jaiswal’s statement may be an attempt to destabilize the Bihar government led by Nitish Kumar by creating confusion among the Mahagathbandan leaders.
“At present, JD-U does not exist in Bihar. 40 percent of the party leaders led by Lalan Singh may join the AKP and make Tejashwi
Yadav as Chief Minister of Bihar. “Lalan Singh will also become Deputy Prime Minister,” said Jaiswal.
About 60% of the JD-U leaders are in contact with the BJP. They were not happy with Nitish Kumar’s decision to join Mahagathbandan. they have
against RJD and they are now participating in the government. They have to appear in front of the public during the elections. Hence they want to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.”
Jaiswal said.
