Drew McIntyre recently opened up about his triple threat match against Gunther and Sheamus at WrestleMania 39.
talking on bump, The former WWE Champion has stated that the three-way match was one of the favorite matches of his career.
“One of my favorite matches ever is in the top three. And you could be in any position, to be honest, to have a WrestleMania match at that level with Sheamus right there and I always laugh about, you know, I met him when I was 19. He was 43. And that’s no joke because he’s so much older than me, but I’ve always dreamed of having a big match on stage and finally getting it at WrestleMania. GUNther was incredibly talented and physically unreal,” McIntyre said.
At Money in the Bank 2023 in London, McIntyre returned to the company to take on The Ring General after his successful title defense against Matt Riddle.
