After the rain stopped, Prime Minister Modi stood at the car door and waved to the crowd passing through the road in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Amidst heavy rain, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held a roadshow, with his convoy escorted by a platoon of cyclists in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district.

Modi, who was seen sitting in the front seat of his car, was surrounded by several men on bicycles, while a crowd of people shouted and cheered for the prime minister amid light showers.

After the rain stopped, Prime Minister Modi stood at the car door and waved to the crowd as he passed on his designated route.

This comes after the Chief Minister consecrated and laid the foundation stone for development projects of over Rs 24,300 crore in Bikaner district earlier in the day.

The prime minister also addressed a rally in Norang Desar, where he harshly criticized the ruling Congress party and said the Ashok Jillot government was on its way out.

Modi accused the Congress of indulging in corruption and deceit, calling it a “looting ki shop” and a “goth ka bazaar”.

In terms of crimes against women, Rajasthan leads the list in rape cases. The situation here is that protectors become predators. It seems that the entire government here is busy rescuing those accused of rape and murder.”

He added, “The Congress government has done so much harm to Rajasthan in four years, and its defeat in Rajasthan” is certain that its government has already entered a state of “farewell”.

He also said that public anger against the current government has escalated, and when that happens it does not take long for it to lose power.

He also accused the state government of “misleading” the people by announcing schemes and making promises as the elections approached.

Without naming Rahul Gandhi, Modi said that before the 2018 elections, he promised to waive the farmers’ loan within 10 days of coming to power, and asked people if it had been done.
