The video showed the Dalit man, known as Rajendra, sitting on the floor and licking the soles of a person sitting on a wooden bench.

A Dalit man was slapped and forced to lick someone’s slippers after a fight in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. The video of the incident went viral on social media.

The video featured a Dalit man, known as Rajendra, sitting on the floor and licking the slippers of a person, who can be seen sitting on a wooden bench, unfazed throughout the episode. The video also showed that the victim was forced to perform a sit-in while holding his ears.

The accused was identified in the video as Tegbali Singh, a power line worker. Citing a police officer, A.J NDTV The report stated that the man from the delta complained about an electricity problem in his uncle’s house. The lineman got home and started beating the guy.

The video also showed the accused wrestling the victim, who was visiting his uncle’s house, to the ground and slapping him repeatedly. Singh also threatened Rajesh not to visit the region again.

“There was a problem with the electricity in the house of the uncle and the Dalits. The lineman arrived at the place and started beating the man. The video shows that Tejbali made him lick his slippers.”

The incident appeared after another viral video On social media on Saturday, a man was forced to lick the soles of another person’s feet inside a moving vehicle in Gwalior. The police arrested two people in connection with the incident.

Both incidents come on the heels of another horrific incident earlier this week in which a video showed a man Peeing on the face of a tribal youth in Siddhi district, which led to widespread outrage. The accused, Pravesh Shukla, was arrested after the video of the incident emerged on Tuesday.
