It won’t be long until we see Presentation One co-star Danielle Kelley battle it out again for the circuit.
The 27-year-old Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu talent teased her comeback in a recent Instagram post, which is, of course, music to her fans’ ears.
Kelly posted a dressed-up clip of her sexy end on Mariia Molchanova at ONE on Prime Video 4 last year. She commented on the post:
“It will be my turn soon.” Yes the pressure “onechampionshipevolvemma”
As seen in the featured video, Kelly sank beautifully into her hook and relentlessly attacked her opponent’s neck.
The Russian stood up to relieve pressure, but Kelly made the best impression of her human backpack and held on to it like glue. A few seconds later, Kelly gets the tap with a naked rear throttle, and even gets a handsome $50,000 performance bonus.
Kelly is currently a perfect 3-0 under the ONE banner, with her most recent victory coming over Ayaka Miura at ONE Fight Night 7 this past February. Despite being outmaneuvered by her larger Japanese opponent, Kelly proved her mettle and still pulled away with an impressive unanimous decision victory.
Silver Fox BJJ apparently got a shot at the ONE Women’s Atomic Weight Wrestling World Championship. All signs point to the American getting this opportunity in her next match. But the question is against whom?
Kelly has been vocal about her desire to match up with IBJJF World Champion Jessa Khan. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native said she wouldn’t mind facing Tammi Musumeci, but that might prove unlikely since she’s set to face Amanda Alequin at ONE Fight Night 12 on July 14.
