Liam Harrison’s highly anticipated return to the circuit may be a long way off, but that doesn’t stop ONE Championship from looking back on some of the one-time world title contender’s best moves.
Through social media, the promo shared a clip of “The Hitman”‘s hit pads and showcased his incredible speed and sneaky little sweep.
“Sneak it in there Did you get caught? 🦶”
The last time Liam Harrison stepped inside the circuit, it was in a one-on-one world title clash with former champion Nong-O Hama at ONE on Prime Video 1 nearly a year ago. Hoping to walk away with 26 pounds of gold, Harrison instead left the arena with a devastating knee injury thanks to a brutal leg kick delivered by his opponent.
Harrison was forced to undergo knee surgery after the contest and is still in the process of rehabilitation. But that didn’t stop ‘The Hitman’ from busying himself in the gym, doing what he could until such time as he could re-enter the circuit and take another run to become the ONE WORLD CHAMPION.
“I would like to go back, bring myself back to the shape I was before, the speed, the sharpness, and then push to get the shot at the title again,” Harrison said during an appearance on LastBSTN on YouTube. “It’s going to be a tough road of course with rehab, it’s going to be a long road, but I think I’m starting to get back to full fitness.”
Liam Harrison hopes to return in 2023, but no official date has been announced yet.
