“In all, 10,590 students were declared successful against 11,936 seats available for admission into the Schools of Excellence (SoEs). A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat on Monday said that 7,499 of them gained admission into classes one, six and nine.

More than 41,000 applications were received for admission in about 12,000 seats in 80 government-run franchise schools in Jharkhand, which was 345 percent higher than the total seats.

These include Agriculture, Information Technology, ITES, Apparel, Make-up and Home Furnishing, Media and Entertainment, Automotive, Tourism and Hospitality, Beauty and Wellness, Multi-Skills, Electronics and Appliances, Retail and Healthcare.
