Sometimes when people book a hotel room or at AirbnbThey end up disappointed because the pictures on the app or website don’t look the same as what they get during check-in at the property.

David Holtz, Assistant Professor University of California, Berkeley, he shared his experience of booking a room on Airbnb and left netizens amused. Holtz shared a photo of the room with the bed next to the nightstand without a partition. There is also a small clear glass shower just next to the bed.

“Tfw (that feeling when) you get to your airbnb and realize the whole space is basically just a big bathroom the host has put a bed in,” Holtz wrote on Twitter.

Airbnb Help responded to the tweet and wrote, “Hey David. Thanks for reaching out. Please send us a direct message with the email address associated with your Airbnb account, so we can take a closer look.”

“What would it take for people to finally give up AirBnB? I know I did 4 years ago. Best decision ever. Ever wanted one bad experience staying at hotels. Always wanted to brush my teeth in bed,” wrote another. A third said: “ You have everything you need at your fingertips.”

“Show us the original menu or it won’t count… How did they hide that in the menu photos? That would be the most impressive part of all of this,” someone else wrote. “I stayed somewhere like this in New York City. The only difference was the curtain between the bed and the toilet lol,” another user said.
