The Judgment Day returned to WWE NXT on the final episode of the show, entering a confrontation with Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes.
The two have engaged in a corner for some time now. Several weeks ago, Seth Rollins was attacked by Finn Balor after his match for the World Heavyweight Championship against Braun Breaker. It was Milo and Trek who made the saves.
The NXT Champion then appeared on Monday RAW to support The Visionary but ended up facing Balor in a singles match, which he lost. When NXT Judgment Day kicked off this week, they were interrupted by Trek Williams and Carmelo Hayes.
Hayes gave props to Finn Balor for what he’s done for the brand, noting that the latter is on Mount Rushmore of NXT. He added that the show now has a TrickMelo flavor and that he is the building now.
They then challenged Judgment Day to a match at the show. It was announced that Finn Balor and Damien Priest will face NXT Champion Trek Williams in a tag team match in the main event.
It was also later confirmed that the next week on the show, Wes Lee would defend the North American Championship against “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.
