So Elon Musk wants to have a “literal a** measurement contest”, most likely with Zuck. Musk is having a cat fight with Mark Zuckerberg because many believe he is Themes new app Meta Twitter can reveal, something Musk himself seems to be working hard on already.
Musk is likely to take Zook’s alleged idea as evidence that he will lose out on the competition – All the Dudebros know that size is what misleads women.
fair enough. Dudebros body, Dudebros choice. But what does Musk imagine will happen after the contest? If you win, you will receive the “topics” of all subscribers Twitter? Does Zuck agree to ban “cis” from Meta-owned platforms? Do all identification logos turn emerald green? Musk hasn’t tweeted about it, so one can assume he didn’t think about it.
While Zuckerberg hasn’t responded to this new challenge, in June he did agree to a cage match, and there have been reports of both billionaires getting in touch with Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Now, what does this boyish brawl scene tell us? that men are impulsive, unable to reflect on their actions, unable to control their passions—and it is high time we as a matter of civilization if such unstable and unreliable beings can be allowed the kind of liberties they have hitherto enjoyed.
While #notallmen-ers must already be at the peak of their meltdown, such important questions cannot be resolved by weary sentiments, and need the cold, harsh light of statements.
The richest 10 percent today own 52 percent of the world’s total income (IMF, 2022). A quarter of the world’s population currently lives in conflict-affected areas (United Nations, 2022). The planet as a whole is at its most fragile, thanks to the ill-conceived exploitation of natural resources. All this in a world where men have been in charge for as long as anyone can remember.
To imagine an alternative way to be in charge, we need not look far. Can you imagine a female executive who spends most of her time on social media, her embarrassing posts rivaled only by her embarrassingly wrong decisions? Can you imagine a non-male president suggesting in the midst of a raging pandemic that we hit the body with UV rays or inject disinfectant, like the most powerful man in the most powerful nation did? (Donald Trump followed up this statement with, “I’m not a doctor. But I’m, like, someone with good experience. You know what you know.” Who knows what?)
In fact, men also have more confidence in women, although their very small heads don’t always realize it. Didn’t they leave their home, raise their children, and put food in their stomachs only for women? As a result, isn’t the male population going up and around the world?
It really is time for the fairer sex to step up and take charge, for the benefit of men, of course. The ugly sex is crying out for help. Guys need to finish schools, where they can pick up good manners, grace, deportment and charm. They also need never-started schools, where they can learn how not to start needless wars, senseless fights, grooming potential mates without consent, and so on.
Even in Zucky’s wild saga, it was Maye Musk’s mummy, Elon’s mummy, who had to step in. “Actually, I’ve called off the fight. I haven’t told them yet. But I’ll keep saying the fight’s called off, just in case…”, she tweeted on June 23.
For a long time, the prevailing wisdom was that men are natural protectors. It’s time they focus on protecting themselves from themselves, and let the other races do the rest.
