The American Century Championship is here. The celebrity event, also known as the Lake Tahoe Celebrity Golf Championship, is set to kick off on Friday, July 14, at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Nevada. The tournament will feature 80 celebrities from the fields of sports, business and entertainment, who will compete for a prize money of $600,000.
The Lake Tahoe Celebrity Golf Championship will see celebrities compete against each other for the top prize of $125,000. Of note, the event will feature a modified 54-hole Stableford format. Unlike standard putt play, players will be awarded points based on each individual hole. Golfers will play to score as many points as possible to win.

The event, packed with celebrities from Patrick Mahomes to Larry the Cable Guy, kicks off at 7:45 a.m., with Mike Vrabel, Ray Romano and Mike Gulic on the jersey. The pairing of Emmitt Smith, Dwight Freeney, and DeMarcus Ware will follow at 7:54 a.m.
Notably, Annika Sorenstam will play Jake Owen and Mardy Fish at 8:57 a.m., while The Match stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey will play at 9:24 a.m. alongside Canelo Alvarez.
