The former WWE superstar who retired from active competition a few years ago may be forced to make a comeback after insulting his family in a recent show. Santino Marella may no longer be actively competing, but that doesn’t mean he’ll stay out of the ring.
The star’s daughter, Bianca Carrelli (aka Ariana Grace), was recently insulted by Fandango during an IMPACT wrestling show, leading to a confrontation between the two.
The two were already supposed to be a match prior to this, and will meet each other at Slammiversary Fallout. The feud began when Dango was revealed to be the one who was the mystery assailant who harmed Marella backstage.

“You are despicable, just like your daughter.”
Marella couldn’t take this and lost control, attacking the superstar. However, he was restrained by security, and Dango took the opportunity to punch him.
Now, with the two facing off at the event, the repercussions of Dango taking photos of the former WWE Superstar’s family may be too much for the superstar to bear. The match, already personal, seemed to have taken animosity to a new level.
It’s very possible that the star will resort to extreme means and that Dango will find himself regretting his actions.
Given the level of grudge in this match, things are likely to get very graphic.
Santino Marella had retired twice earlier, both before and after leaving WWE
After a career in the WWE, where he was always beloved by the fans, Marella left the company when he was released. While appearing for them since he has also wrestled on the indie circuit and Impact Wrestling.
Back in 2017, he announced his retirement from wrestling after a match with Chavo Guerrero. He had retired while in WWE as well, in 2014, after a neck injury. He subsequently worked in various non-wrestling capacities.
Since then, he has returned and wrestled a few more matches, although his primary job has been as a commentator or as a character.
