Super agent Benny Zahavi has explained why it might be difficult for Bayern Munich to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer. The Bavarian giants are keen to sign Kane this summer, but they aren’t the only club who have expressed interest in him.

Bayern Munich have reportedly seen two formal offers for the England striker, which were rejected by Tottenham. Zahavi feels that knowing Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, he made a deal with him. It will not be easy for Bayern Munich.

Zahavi told Sportbuzzer (via GOAL):

“I’ve known Daniel Levy for about 25 years. From my many years of experience and our friendship, I can say: yes, it’s not always easy with him. (But) if Bayern know how to deal with him, they can find a solution.”

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Bundesliga champions have so far sent two offers for Kane, €70m plus add-ons and €80m plus add-ons. But Tottenham are not ready to sell the striker.

Manchester United are also said to be interested in signing the England player, but according to Sky Sports, the north London club are not interested in selling Kane to a Premier League club.

Fabrizio Romano offers insight into the first meeting between Harry Kane and new Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou

Tottenham Hotspur appointed Ange Postecoglou as their coach ahead of the 2023/24 season. Even before the start of the season, the Australian tactician was tasked with persuading Kane to stay at the club.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided insight into what might have been discussed between Kane and Postecoglou when they first met.

“The first conversation will not be about money or the contract, it will be more general about the Tottenham project, Ange’s ideas and what Harry Kane wants to do after Bayern’s approach.

“Postecoglou will be very honest and straightforward as always: he wants to make Tottenham great, that’s the priority for the new manager and he’ll tell that to Harry,” Romano told CaughtOffside.

The 30-year-old has entered the final 12 months of his contract with Tottenham.
