Red Bull team boss believes Sergio Perez will succeed in the Hungarian Grand Prix

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has been supportive of Sergio Perez, who hasn’t been able to do well in the past few races.

Although the Mexican driver’s race pace was very good, he has been horrible in qualifying sessions since the Miami GP. However, Horner feels Perez would be better at the 2023 F1 Hungarian GP.

“He just needs to break it now. He’ll do it in Budapest. I’m confident. The way he races… I mean, some of his moves in the race (at Silverstone), those moves in particular in Carlos Sainz, were absolutely amazing in Stowe. If I looked at his speed in the last stint, he was really there,” F1 quotes Horner as saying.

Sergio Perez He is currently second in the drivers’ championship, ahead of his Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen.
