Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday made a veiled dig at Uddhav Thackeray saying that the former Chief Minister was saying he did not understand politics, budget etc., while the present government understands these things.
Speaking on Chasan Aplia Dari (Government at Your Doorstep) here, Fadnavis said the government of the Shiv Sena, BJP and NCP (Ajit Pawar camp) will change the life of the common man.
The former prime minister used to say that he did not understand politics, budget, co-operative sector and many other things. So (Sharad) Pawar Sahib wrote in his book (Biography) that he (Uddhav) also did not know politics. “But we know everything – budget, politics and economics,” Fadnavis said.
He said the current government is working under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has implemented several welfare schemes and is credited with eradicating poverty.
Fadnavis also mentioned several measures implemented by the state government last year after it came to power.
“We have increased the honorary reward for Anganwadi workers and Kotwals. We have taken decisions like concession of 50 per cent for women on MSRTC bus trips and free travel for senior citizens (above 75). I hope this government will fulfill all your expectations.”
Fadnavis summoned Lord Ram while he was talking about the government’s program as Nashik houses the famous temple of the deity.
“Government has not only come at your doorstep but also in the court of Lord Ram. Nashik is the land of the Kumbh Mela. This program is the Kumbh Mela itself. Let us serve you as part of our efforts to take government to the last person.”
Despite this, some people have problems. To find a remedy for their problems, we brought Eknath Shinde, and now we have brought Ajit dada (Pawar). Our government completed one year recently. In this period, we have placed Maharashtra at first place in terms of investment and industries. Vadnavis added that this government has the confidence of the country and the industrial sector.
He said that an aid of Rs 10,000 crore has been given to farmers.
“With ‘Namu Shikari Yojana’, we have given Rs 12,000 (Rs 6,000 from the state government and Rs 6,000 from the center) to the farmers. With the ‘Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana’, we will meet the demand for electricity supply during the day,” Fadnavis added.
He said that every farmer in Nashik will have 12 hours of electricity during the day in the next three years.
“Under the smart scheme, agribusiness associations will be formed in 10,000 villages and agreements have been signed with 43 companies including Reliance Industries. Farmers can sell their produce directly and can also avail themselves of cold storage, parlors and other facilities. Farmers should not worry,” Fadnavis added. Where funds will be made available on a large scale for them.”
He said that a decision on the New Metro project and the Nashik-Pune railway project will be taken soon.
Fadnavis said farmers should not worry despite the lack of rain this year as the government is standing behind them with various schemes at its disposal to make farmers drought-free permanently.
Speaking to reporters at Nagpur airport earlier, Fadnavis said the alliance (Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde and BJP and NCP led by Ajit Pawar) would function smoothly.
“Everything between us will proceed smoothly as the Cabinet has been allocated smoothly. Because the three parties have decided that we will work together in the interest of Maharashtra.”
He said that the expansion of the Cabinet will also be done without any obstacles.
On the appointment of provincial ministers of regents, Fadnavis said that this would be done shortly after discussions between the allies, and would not present any problem.
Notably, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday allocated the key finance and planning portfolio, which was earlier held by Vadnavis, while some of the eight other NCP leaders who joined the state government with him two weeks ago also got important portfolios such as cooperation. . and agriculture.
