The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cyclones to flow over the northwestern Bay of Bengal and adjacent western Odisha-Gangetic coasts around July 18. The next two or three days.

Northwest India:
Rainfall will continue in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh to a greater extent with heavy to very heavy rains, thunderstorms and isolated heavy rains likely over Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan in the next three days.
Isolated heavy rain is likely over Uttarakhand on July 17.
East and Northeast neighboring India:
Northeast India, Sub-Himalayas, West Bengal and Sikkim are likely to receive rainfall on a fairly widespread scale with isolated heavy rains today, Odisha from 16th July to 18th July; Jharkhand on 16 July. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely in Odisha on July 16.
Central India:
Light/moderate somewhat scattered to widespread precipitation, with isolated torrential rains, thunderstorms and lightning very likely over the area over the next 5 days. East and West Madhya Pradesh are set to receive heavy to very heavy rains on July 16 and July 17; Chhattisgarh on 17 July.
West India:
Konkan and Goa region is likely to continue with light/moderate to widespread rainfall with heavy to very heavy rainfall, in the Ghat districts of Maharashtra over the next five days and Gujarat on July 19 and July 20.
South India:
Rainfall is likely to continue over coastal Karnataka and Telangana between July 16th and July 20th with light/moderate to fairly widespread precipitation with isolated torrential rains and over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe and inland Karnataka between July 18th to July 20th.
