The son of late WWE superstar Chris Benoit was spotted ringside on tonight’s episode of AEW Collision. It is none other than David Benoit.
Tonight’s show took place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The opening match of the night was a two out of three falls match for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. The showdown was between the champions FTR and challengers Bullet Club Gold.
As FTR made his way to the ring, the son of the late WWE legend Chris Benoit was spotted sitting at ringside at ringside. David has also been sharing constant updates about his time in the arena via him Instagram story.
Benoit previously revealed that he has a keen interest in All Elite Wrestling.
For the opening match, the two teams fought for 58 minutes on the Saturday night show. Bullet Club Gold picked up to first fallwith Jay White hitting Blade Runner on Cash Wheeler.
Despite multiple attempts to even the scores, the AEW World Tag Team Champions were unable to pin or submit White. In the end, as Juice Robinson got into the tag, he was hit by the Shatter Machine, so FTR was able to pick up the second fall to even the points.
Former WWE Superstars retained their titles after Dax forced Harwood Robinson to submit with his Sharpshooter.
