UFC commentator Joe Rogan admitted he didn’t think he’d stand a chance if he was put in a boxing ring against Jake Paul.
Paul has divided opinion since switching from YouTube to professional boxing. There are some who think he lacks boxing ability while others are impressed with his level given that he has only been training in the discipline for a short time.
Rogan has regularly praised “The Problem Child” for his talent in the ring and what he’s accomplished so far. Paul is 6-1 as a pro and knocked out former UFC greats in Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva. The 26-year-old is hoping to do the same again on August 5 when he takes on Nate Diaz.
Comedian Andrew Schultz joined the UFC color commentator on a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). During the episode, Schultz asked Rogan if he thought he’d stand a chance against Jake Paul in the boxing ring.
The 55-year-old admitted that Paul is a good boxer and would probably beat him because he is older and has knee problems. Rogan explained:
“Well, maybe he (Jake Paul) would beat me. He’s a really good boxer. He’s a good boxer. When I was a younger guy with good knees, I could’ve boxed him, but I can barely get a workout without the pain now. There’s a truth to the knees.” and back.”

Rogan is considered by many fans to be the voice of the UFC. While most die-hard MMA viewers are used to hearing a mix of different voices in the hot seat during shows, Rogan is a staple for casual fans who watch the biggest pay-per-views.
However, some fans may not know that Rogan rests his future in the organization entirely on Dana White.
In episode 142 of joe rogan experience, Rogan revealed that he has no plans to stay in the commentary booth if the UFC boss leaves the promotion. It is to explain:
“He’s an animal. He’s just, like, always doing things. He’s always involved, he’s always got deals, he’s always working fights, he’s always… he likes this a**t. If he ever… it’s in my mind that he If he ever leaves, I’m like, “I don’t want to do this to anyone else.”
