In a shocking revelation in a drug case on board a ship involving Khan’s son Aryan Khan, a former intelligence officer in the Narcotics Control Bureau hints that the drug case could have been a foundation and that the former NCP district director, Sameer Wankidi was behind the plot.

Ashish Ranjan Prasad, accused in CBI v Officials in drug case, claimed that witness Kiran Gosavi was involved in the matter with the consent of Wankidi, Times of India mentioned. However, Wankidi earlier said that he met Gosave, Prabhakar Seal and BJP worker Manish Bhanushali on the day of the drug bust case.

Prasad said he had inquired about the presence of Gosavi, Chail and Panushali while detaining the suspects from the cruise ship which was there as instructed by Vankidi. TOI.

Not proof of his integrity: NCB to Bombay HC over Samir Wankidi’s alleged conversations with SRK

Wankidi is facing a CBI investigation of an alleged bribery of Rs 25 crore in a drug case on board a ship involving Khan’s son Aryan Khan. He has been granted temporary relief from arrest from the Bombay High Court till today.

In an affidavit filed in the Bombay High Court last month, the now-arrested Indian Revenue Service officer shared his “conversations” with the actor to confront the extortion allegations and claimed that Khan praised his integrity in the conversation.

Earlier, Wankidi’s lawyer alleged that Aryan Khan and his father Shahrukh Khan had already told the court that there was no extortion case of Rs 25 crore.

On June 17, the NCB submitted a 92-page affidavit refuting the allegations of the former officers.

The federal agency’s affidavit also stated that Wankidi, despite having left the NCB, was in “regular contact” with a deputy legal counsel in an effort to “manipulate the outcome” of the Aryan Khan case and “extract sensitive information”.

The extortion case against Wankidi is related to the arrest of Aryan Khan on 3 October 2021. Khan was eventually released on bail after 25 days.
