Victoria Beckham teased her husband, David Beckham, for slipping during the unveiling of Lionel Messi at Inter Miami. The club’s co-owner was walking down the slope when he slipped because the platform was wet after a spell of rain.
The video went viral on social media as fans noticed the legendary footballer trying to keep his balance. His wife, Victoria, also watched the video and responded to it.
She jokingly suggested that the former Manchester United star wasn’t used to modeling before he himself re-shared the video. The slide saw Beckham take smaller steps and maintain his balance before the presenter helped him into the middle of the court.
Lionel Messi was unveiled in front of Inter Miami fans, with some 20,000 people in attendance. He could make his debut this week when they face MLS side Cruz Azul in a League Cup match.

David Beckham revealed that he received “a million messages” after Lionel Messi announced his decision to join Inter Miami. He claimed that his phone soon went off and he was caught in amazement.
Beckham has been pushing to sign Messi since Inter Miami joined MLS. The Daily Mail quoted him as saying:
“Two weeks ago, I woke up to about a million messages on my phone. I was thinking, ‘What happened?'” I don’t usually get that many messages. Suddenly, I heard Leo had come out and announced he was coming to Miami. It obviously didn’t come as a surprise to me. I’ve always said, from the beginning, that if I had the chance to bring the best players in the game to Miami, at any point in their careers, I would. I’ve always made that commitment to our fans.”
he added:
“So when I hear that one of the best – if not the best – player who has won everything in the game, who is still a great player, who is still young and still doing his thing, wants to play for my team, it’s a great moment for us.
Lionel Messi has admitted that he was looking forward to joining Barcelona this summer but eventually decided to join Inter Miami. He did not want to wait for the Catalan club to resolve its financial problems before he could be officially registered.
