Hype Train James Bryce

It appears that Bryce James’ decision to transfer from Sierra Canyon School to Campbell Hall is already paying off with Los Angeles Lakers scouts attending to watch his debut for his new team.

According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the accepted industry view is that Bryce James is the top talent among LeBron’s sons.

“The interesting thing is that the most naturally gifted son (in terms of his physical talents) seems to be the second son (LeBron), Bryce, but the one who wants it most is Bruni,” Windhorst said.

Bryce received his first college offer from Duquesne last year. He was scouted intensely by NBA scouts during the Nike EYBL Peach Jam.

Younger James was also recently named to Sports Illustrated’s Power Players of the Future list alongside talents like Victor Wembanyama, Bronny James, and Caitlin Clark.

It has been suggested that Bryce James could take the unusual step of going straight into the NBA like his father. His performances in various summer tournaments against elite opposition will certainly not hurt his chances.
