Even after learning that a car had hit his truck, the driver accelerated the truck’s speed in fear of public wrath.
In a strange incident in Udupi, a car stuck in the back was towed by a dump truck for 2 km with the driver stuck inside.
Police sources said that the car got stuck under the truck after it collided from behind near Badubedri area in Udupi district.
Visuals show that the driver is stuck in the vehicle while the truck continues to pull the vehicle forward.

The accident occurred when Santro was traveling from Sagar to Mangalore and the truck was traveling from Bilman to Paykambadi.
The truck driver told the police that he did not realize the car was stuck in the back. Although he knew that his truck had been hit by a car, he accelerated the truck’s speed, fearing public outrage.
However, he was chased by the locals, after which the Badubedri police arrived at the scene and arrested the driver.
The two wounded, Jaffer Khan and Shahina, were taken to a hospital near Surathkal, A.M Deccan Herald The report said.
A case was registered and the police confirmed that appropriate action was taken in this regard.
In other such incidents, earlier in February this year, a mother and daughter were killed after a cement mixer truck flipped onto their car and was completely destroyed.

Attempting to turn slightly, the truck suddenly had to collapse, causing a rollover. After the truck fell, the car’s emergency system sent a distress message to the pair.
