Phetjeeja has rightfully earned her place among the ONE Championship star group, but she wants to be the brightest one among the stacked crew.

The Thai superstar came away with a half-minute knockout victory over Lara Fernandez last weekend at ONE Fight Night 12 at the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

After destroying Fernandez for 26 seconds, Phetjeeja told South China Morning Post that she wanted Allycia Hellen Rodrigues and the ONE atomweight Muay Thai Championship.

Phetjeeja said:

“Alicia. I want to fight with you. Come fight with me. Let’s go. I really want to go face to face with Alicia.”

Phetjeeja already had over 200 wins before she debuted under the ONE Championship banner.

After two stunning knockout wins against Fanny Pelumbi and Enes Belotti in the ONE Friday Fights series, Phetjeeja was awarded the ONE contract.

The Queen made sure her Amazon debut was her global culmination.

While Fernandez is a three-time world champion in Muay Thai and kickboxing, Phetjeeja didn’t care about any of it.

Phetjeeja is one of the most successful amateur boxers in Thai history, but it is in Muay Thai and kickboxing that she really shows her level of skill in the other world.

The 21-year-old has already outgrown the “phenomenon” label at this point, and explained to Fernandez why the Muay Thai community holds her on such a high pedestal.

Phetjeeja landed her right arm, relentlessly attacking the young star. Phetjeeja Fernandez cracked with strikes from every conceivable direction and eventually forced referee Olivier Coste to order a stoppage less than half a minute into the match.

Rodrigues, meanwhile, has a large list of potential challengers, but Vega might already be in that squad.

The 25-year-old Brazilian star is one of the best female forwards on the planet, and her 2-0 record in the ONE Championship came at the expense of Stamp Fairtex and Janet Todd.
