Talented, good looking, and always speaking their minds – Richa Shadha and Ali Fazal are like two peas in a pod. The two came to a close bond while filming Fukrey and began dating soon after. The actors registered their marriage last year and celebrated it with close friends and family a few months later in October. Now, in a recent interview, Feather She reveals that she ignored Ali when they first met, believing him to be a “juvenile” type of person.
In conversation with The Quint, she shared meeting Ali in the casting director’s office and finding him attractive. However, thinking that there will be no meeting of minds. When they met each other on the set of Fukrey, the other actors were always busy, and this made them spend time together. I realized how they came from “the same planet and had so many connections in common”. Within a few years, they started seeing each other but decided to keep it for a long time.
Richa opened up about falling in love with Ali and shared how he’s a talented actor too, and she really believes in him. The actor shared that they would not be together if they did not find each other talented. Thoda snobbish hai but actor accha nahi hoga toh nahi chalega (if they’re not good actors, it won’t work). You need to talk to them too. I never wanted to date a protein shake guy. I have nothing against them, bello, she added with a laugh. The Masan actress reflected on her social media and how she stopped tweeting freely. Richa revealed that she now only uses three words to describe herself on the microblogging site. She shared how she never cared about the opinions of strangers but sometimes it gets smug. “Everyone encourages others to live their lives on Instagram and then asks you out on Twitter. I’ve always thought if someone has a problem with what I’m saying, it’s their problem, not mine. I also have a great coping mechanism, so it doesn’t really affect me.”
