Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said on Tuesday that the Shiv Sena is the biggest ally of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. “Our association goes a long way. Our alliance is ideological and emotional, and strengthens bipartisan ties,” Shinde said at the NDA meeting in Delhi.

Prime Minister Modi was received by Shinde along with leaders from Tamil Nadu and Nagaland. He was received by Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vinod Tawde.

Expressing his confidence in Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Shinde said the 2024 elections will be record-breaking with Modi once again in power. “The NDA will again have a majority. Modiji boosted the economy and made India respected all over the world. The more the opposition claims, the stronger the caucus will become.”

Looking at the opposition meeting, Shinde said, “Here we have an alliance of strong and ideological bonds. There they cannot even decide their leader. All the distrustful dissidents have united. This is a win for Modiji.”

Shinde also said that the Maharashtra NDA had been boosted by the accession of Ajit Pawar and the NCP. The situation in Maharashtra has changed since then. We will sweep Maharashtra. “We’re enjoying a majority of 210 people and we’re not worried,” he said.

The NDA meeting in Delhi saw 38 parties confirm their attendance as preparations for the 2024 general elections begin.
