Parliament’s seasonal session will start on July 20 and run until August 10 (Image: PTI)
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi made the announcement during a business advisory committee meeting convened by Lok Sabha Chairman Om Birla.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi told an all-party meeting on Wednesday that the government is ready to discuss every issue permitted under the rules and which the president agreed to in the Monsoon session, including the Manipur issue.
Joshi’s announcement came during a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee called by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla ahead of the monsoon session of parliament starting from July 20. The opposition leaders had raised demands to discuss the violence in Manipur in Parliament.
Additionally, Joshi revealed that there are 32 legislative items lined up for the session.,
