The 34-year-old WWE superstar sent out a message after a humiliating loss last night on RAW.
WWE RAW was broadcast live last night from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Chyna Baszler defeated Nikki Cross in a match that lasted only a few seconds. Baszler immediately got the Cross in the Kirifuda Clutch for the submission victory and then got a promotion with Ronda Rousey after the match.
After the embarrassing loss, Nikki Cross took to Twitter today and retweeted a promotion she made over two years ago. In the video, Cross states that she has absolutely no momentum, and the only thing she can do aside from getting more frustrated is focus on being the best she can be in the ring. She added that there was a reason why she was the first Scottish woman to be signed by the company.
“Two and a half years ago. Every word still stands,” Nikki Cross wrote on Twitter.
Nikki Cross recently referred to the 29-year-old star as her stepdaughter on social media.
Cross was obsessed with Candice LeRae for months on RAW. She and Emma competed in a Tag Team Turmoil match on the July 3 edition of RAW to determine the next challengers to the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Cross abandoned Emma during the match to follow LeRae backstage after eliminating The Poison Pixie. Deville and Green won the Tag Team Turmoil match and went on to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship last night on WWE RAW.
The former RAW Women’s Champion recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh and Isla Dawn congratulates her. Cross responded to Dawn and referred to the star as her “adopted daughter.”
“Arghhhh thanks!!!!!!! Hope you are doing well! Appreciate you our little adopted daughter 😝,” she wrote on Twitter.
Kross took on the RAW Women’s Champion while portraying Nikki ASH. It will be interesting to see what awaits the WWE RAW veteran.
