A rising Muay Thai sensation, Phetjeeja hopes to always remain humble, no matter how far her incredible skills take her in the world of martial sports.
Phetjeeja put on a brief but stunning show in her return to the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium at ONE Fight Night 12, picking up the biggest win of her already amazing career thus far. ‘The Queen’ scored her third straight under the ONE Championship banner, deflecting two-time ISKA kickboxing champion Laura Fernandez in an astonishing 26 seconds.
Needless to say, Phetjeeja’s star power received a huge boost after she defeated one of the promotion’s top starlets in sure fashion. Possibly on the cusp of her first world title opportunity, The Queen knows the importance of staying humble and showing appreciation for those who have supported her along the way:
Well, I’ve always been like this and always want to be as friendly as possible with all my fans, fans and people that I know,” Phetjeeja told South China Morning Post. “So I just want it to stay that way.”
With victories over Fanny Pelombi, Enes Belotti and now Lara Fernandez, Phetjeeja is hoping her next appearance inside the circuit will see her stand on the other side of world Muay Thai champion Alycia Hellen Rodrigues.
With three straight finishes, has Phetjeeja done enough to earn 26 pounds of gold in the ONE Championship, or does the budding Muay Thai star need another big win under her belt?
If you missed an event or just want to relive an epic night in ONE Championship history, a replay of ONE Fight Night 12 can be watched anytime on demand via Amazon Prime Video in North America.
