Superlek Kiatmoo9 was determined to deliver another great finish in its return to the legendary Lumpinee Boxing arena last week.
‘The Kicking Machine’ put on another stellar performance in front of a hometown crowd, picking up a second straight win in the space of three weeks. Superlik was out from the start, looking to end his night early against Russian artist Tagir Khalilov.
It took the Thai star less than two rounds to get the job done, confusing Khalilov to the point where he could only walk away, prompting the referee to step in and call for a stoppage.
After the match, ‘The Kicking Machine’ spoke about his outstanding finish, revealing that he went out looking to take out the opponent quickly and give the fans inside Mecca an unforgettable evening:
“My plan was to finish the fight by knockout or TKO and it didn’t matter,” Superlek said in a post-fight interview. “The knee road is also ok, I just want to finish the fight beautifully and show people the art of Muay Thai.”

With his eighth consecutive win in the Art of Eight Limbs now in the books, Superlek is looking forward to his chance to become the world’s top division champion. The Kicking Machine hopes to take on world bantamweight champion Jonathan Haggerty in the near future.
Is Superlek vs. Jonathan Haggerty the fight to be had or is there another fight out there for “The Kicking Machine?”
