To fill the void left by Woodcroft, the university named Steve Fiedler as interim head coach for the 2023-24 season. Woodcroft’s attorney, Andrew Miltenberg, responded to the decision, expressing strong disagreement with the investigation’s process and findings, and vowing to seek justice for his client.
While Woodcroft had a notable career in the NHL prior to joining UVM, his otherwise accomplished coaching journey was marred by a texting scandal.
