Aaron Rodgers reported on his first training camp for the New York Jets on Wednesday afternoon, and there’s a lot of excitement surrounding the quarterback’s Super Bowl victory with his new team. Longtime sports radio host Chris “Mad Dog” Russo believes in the 39-year-old quarterback. He also thinks fans shouldn’t go crazy yet.
On ESPN’s “First Take” Wednesday morning, he said he believes the Jets will make the playoffs in 2023 and noted how close they were last season before falling apart.

He said that while the Miami Dolphins are a wild card, he feels the New England Patriots are easy to beat.
“I think the Jets are going into the postseason. I don’t think they’re going to miss the playoffs. I understand the split but you just never know. The Patriots got a lot of question marks. They haven’t won a playoff game since Brady, little pressure on Belichick for a change. Rogers over there they’ve got a good defense.”
“They were 7-4 last year before they fell apart and lost their last six games. You know, running back is back, Lazard shows. Like I mentioned, they’ve got a pretty good offensive line. Russo then went on to say that the Jets are a good team overall, but would not go so far as to say they would win the Super Bowl. He said it’s hard to do in the AFC with Josh Allen, Joe Borough and Patrick Mahomes.

In recent years with the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers’ arrival at training camp has made headlines. The MVP quarterback arrived at last year’s camp dressed as actor Nicolas Cage.
Needless to say, fans have been anxious to see what Rodgers will look like this year. His arrival at Gates’ camp was completely “normal,” so to speak. Rodgers wore a black shirt, gray shorts and silver sunglasses as he made his entrance at Florham Park.
No gimmicks, no uniforms, just a quarterback walking the team’s facility. Perhaps Aaron Rodgers is taking a fresh approach with his new team and leaving the Packers lifestyle behind.
