Arsenal fans online were full of praise for new signing Jøren Timber after their 5-0 victory over the MLS All-Stars in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday, July 19.

Arsenal were excellent in their second pre-season match, drawing 1-1 at Nuremberg. Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring for the visitors in the fifth minute before Leandro Trossard doubled the lead in the 23rd minute.

Jorginho scored from a penalty kick in the 47th minute, and Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz added a goal in the 84th and 89th minutes, respectively.

Arsenal fans were delighted with Jurrien Timber’s performance on his debut for the club. Arsenal signed the Dutch defender from Ajax for 45 million euros.

He came on as a substitute, replacing William Saliba in the 64th minute against the MLS All-Stars. He won all three of his duels, completing 19 of 20 passes and making 1 tackle and 1 interception.
