The people of these villages sell these fruits in the streets for their livelihood. According to them, pineapple prices on the farm are much lower than in cities. Rythu Rajulamma, a local says that at present the price of a small one is 5 rupees and the price of a larger one is 10 rupees.

In an interview with News 18 Local, a tribe reported that tourists coming to the state cannot leave the place without eating this fruit, as it is sold at a higher price in the cities. Merchants, who come to the farm, buy pineapples at a lower price and sell them at much higher prices in the cities. Moreover, they shared that the crop is suitable on the slope of the hills, where the heavy rainfall is about 500 to 5550 mm. The fruits grown on the slopes are much tastier than those grown on the plains. Crops can be grown in sandy, silty or later soils.
