Draymond Green gave a vague explanation of what happened between him and Jordan Paul on “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone.”

“Dialogue, of course, happens over time, and usually you don’t get triggered by something so quickly, to that degree,” Green said. “This is a team. There’s no one on my team who pushes me around in an instant. We know things you don’t say between men. We know things you have to stand on.”

But how did it all start between Paul and Greene? Green punched Poole in early October during group training, and TMZ later released a video of Green arguing with Poole before punching him.

At the time, fans were curious what Jordan Paul might have said to Green to elicit that kind of reaction. However, despite the sources claimed by Cameron regarding what Paul said, still no one has any evidence of what was said at the practice.

It’s also a testament to the Warriors organization for keeping the situation under wraps as closely as possible, with the exception of a video that was released online by TMZ.

The struggle between the two made things awkward for the entire team, and they ended up the defending champions last season, goinf 44-38.

Jordan Paul was traded to the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul despite signing a contract extension prior to last season. Meanwhile, Draymond Green signed a four-year, $100 million contract to return to the Warriors next season.

Consider what Jordan Paul said about his relationship with Draymond Green days after the accident

After getting into a heated argument with Green, Paul spoke about his relationship with his teammate going forward last season:

“He apologized, and we plan to treat ourselves that way,” Paul said. “We’ll play basketball.”

It was a professional response just days after the accident from Paul. Given his statement, the Warriors tried to bury what happened among his teammates, but the team struggled nonetheless.

Heading into next season, it will be interesting what happens when the Wizards and Warriors face off in the regular season.
