The matter is in parliament.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday urged parliamentarians to take full advantage of the monsoon session of parliament to hold extensive discussions on a range of bills that the government plans to achieve in the interest of the people.
Interacting with the media before the session, the Prime Minister said that the session is necessary in many ways because the bills being introduced are directly related to the interests of the people.
Prime Minister Modi is also likely to interact with BJP-led National Democratic Alliance MPs during the ongoing Parliament session in Monsoon. Parliamentarians were divided into 10 groups to hold separate meetings with him.
Modi usually interacts with BJP MPs from different states during the sessions. TAP reported, citing sources, that several union ministers and BJP members have been assigned to coordinate with these groups.
Regarding the work of the Monsoon session, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said that the government has listed 31 bills for the session which will hold 17 sessions before it concludes on August 11.
The session begins against the backdrop of 26 opposition parties forming the All India Alliance for National Development (India) to take on the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
