On questioning the Chandrasekhar Rao government about various reconnaissance promises, the union minister said the game is on and the people of Telangana will fight under the leadership of the BJP to defeat the BRS.
Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G. Kishan Reddy, who officially assumed the post of Telangana BJP President on Friday, said the party will not rest until the ruling BRS government is buried in the elections. Speaking at a party meeting after taking charge, Reddy said there was a need to work unified with the aim of defeating the BRS in the state, as the BJP high leadership believes that Telangana is one of the southern states after Karnataka and Puducherry where the Saffron Party can potentially come to power.
Referring to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Reddy said that “Naya Nizam” and his family believe themselves to be the owners and kings of Telangana and believe that the state should be loyal to his offspring as well. He said that I, Sanjay and other leaders will work together and will not rest until the BRS government is buried in the crossroads of Obaid (Hyderabad).
Questioned by the Chandrasekhar Rao government on various reconnaissance promises, the union minister said the game is on and the people of Telangana will fight under the leadership of the BJP to defeat the BRS. Attacking the opposition parties’ attempts to form an alliance, he said it was inevitable that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would win again in the 2024 general elections and become prime minister again.

He said the party will undertake a series of programs to expose the failures of the BJP government, he said. Former Telangana official Prakash Javadekar and Tarun Choogh and former Telangana party chief Pandey Sanjay Kumar at the meeting.
Sanjay Kumar, without naming anyone, asked the party leaders to allow Kishan Reddy to work in peace. Before taking charge in the party office, Reddy offered prayers at the Sri Bhagyalakshmi temple adjacent to Sharminar.
Along with other senior leaders, he decorated statues of Dr. B. Earlier this month, seeking to put an end to internal controversy and protracted media speculation regarding developments in the BJP, the party’s central leadership appointed Kishan Reddy as state party chief in place of Sanjay Kumar.
