Judge Jahind Pal Singh’s court on Friday night also imposed a fine of 65,000 rupees each on Chander alias Ramchandra Paswan, Rajendra Paswan and Rakesh Paswan and 15,500 rupees on Pintu after they were found guilty under various sections, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO)

A special court here has sentenced three men to life imprisonment and another person to seven years in prison in a case involving the gang rape of two Nepali girls. Judge Jahind Pal Singh’s court on Friday night also imposed a fine of 65,000 rupees on Chander aka Ramchandra Paswan, Rajendra Paswan and Rakesh Paswan and 15,500 rupees on Pinto after they were found guilty under various sections, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO).

Additional government advocate Pawan Kumar Shukla said a case was registered against the four at Haria Police Station on 26 June 2022, for the gang rape of two underage girls who came through a forest to buy goods from a market adjacent to the Indo-Nepalese border. He added that the police arrested the four after that and sent them to prison and filed an indictment.
