The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has booked a policeman from RAK Marg Police Station, Mumbai for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 20 lakh from a construction worker for allegedly favoring him in an order.

According to the Office of Combating Desertification, the complainant is a resident of Baydar Street and is working on the development of the SRA project in Western Wadala, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Marj Ras Al Khaimah Police Station.

At the aforementioned construction site, some people were staying illegally and the Tahildar office recently ordered the SRA to evict them. The police were also instructed to provide a security band for South Sudanese army officers.

After that, the complaining construction worker called the police, as the workers working on his project also stayed there.
