A memorial meeting for school education man S. D. Singh, who passed away on July 4, was held at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in the city recently.
Rajeev Kumar, Senior Executive at Salesforce and Wipro along with Scindia Old Boys Association, Pune, organized the commemorative event titled “Celebrating the life of – Dr S.D Singh”.
Dr. Singh was Principal of the Scindia School and Principal of Hyderabad House, Don School.
His former students and colleagues from around the world join in to pay tribute. The students of the Doon School who fell unconscious in 1971 and 1972 – Guram Sen Gupta, Rajbir Singh and Vinit Khanna – also paid their respects to Dr. Singh.
Dr. Singh spent 40 years working as Principal of Scindia School for 16 years and held various positions including House Master of Doon School. ENS
