Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla-starrer Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke marked 30 years since its release this year. Mahesh Bhatt’s directing about a man who takes care of his sister’s children after her death was much loved back in the day. The film also stars actress Navneet Nishan who plays businessman Bilani’s daughter, Maya, who wants to marry Rahul, played by Aamir. In a recent interview, Navneet mentioned some funny incidents from the sets of the movie.
Navneet Nishan He shared Aamir Khan was mischievous on set and how he made her kiss his cheek a few times for the sake of continuity. Speaking of the “cool memories” of working on the film, Navneet shared in her interview with Hindustan Times how Aamir Khan was “quietly naughty”.
“There was a cute scene that was edited, sadly. After our engagement, I go to Aamir’s house to pick him up and give him a peck on the cheek. There was a lipstick mark on his cheek when I kissed him. Later, Aamir being Aamir said this should be in continuation. So, throughout the day, he made me kiss his cheek at least 7-8 times,” Navneet shared.
She also happily added, “I came home and told my friends that I kissed Aamir Khan all day! Meri Toh Nickel Gay Lottery.”

She added, “It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my career.
Navneet also recalled one of the scenes in the movie, where children throw eggs at her. “Soon after, we realized it was about the others. So, Aamir made sure they were broken enough before throwing them and they didn’t get too hurt. Once the shot started, we were beaten with eggs and they didn’t stop coming. I’m a vegetarian and I couldn’t stand the smell of eggs. I was covered head to toe in eggs. Thank God I had a hair wig that I could throw on and it smelled and slicked my hair for days.”
Before Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Navneet Nishan gained popularity from her hit TV show, Tara.
