Three names that give Malayali movie viewers goosebumps are Baburaj Jacob, Chimban Vinod Jose and Gino Joseph because we know what they can do if they are on the antagonist side of the movie. We’re saved if they’re on the hero’s side. But what if all we’re left with is them, and the characters they portray all have major shades of gray?
The recently released trailer for the Malayalam movie Nalla Nilavulla Raathri alludes to an intense and dramatic situation like this. Directed by Murphy Devasi, the film is produced by Sandra Thomas and Wilson Thomas under the banner of Sandra Thomas Productions.
At the beginning of the trailer, we are introduced to a group of former college friends who have been known to be mischievous and have now gathered to discuss starting an organic food business in Shivamoga, Karnataka. However, it becomes clear that some members of the group had ulterior motives for the meeting. As the trailer unfolds, tensions run high and conflicts emerge, leading to a turbulent turn of events. The latter half of the trailer is filled with violent scenes and action, which indicates that the movie will be an exciting and action-packed thriller.
The trailer concludes with “Sandra Thomas invites you into a cinematic world of envy, betrayal, wrath, greed, and sloth,” featuring four of the Seven Deadly Sins, specifically the omission of pride, lust, and gluttony.
Alongside Baburaj, Chemphan Vinod Jose and Gino Joseph, it stars Nala Nilafula Rathri, Bennu Babu, Ganapathi, and Ronnie David. Kailas composed the songs in the movie.
The film’s theme song “Thaanaro Thannaro”, which was released last month, received a good response. The video for the track has already had more than 2 million views on YouTube.
