Could Shahrukh Khan be bribed to release his movie early? A fan did on Saturday, and received a hilarious response from the star. After weeks of speculation and confusion, Shah Rukh finally announced that his much-anticipated upcoming film Jawan will not be released on June 2, as previously scheduled, but will now arrive in September.
It’s only natural for the actor’s fans to be a little disappointed that now they’ll have to wait four months for the star to return to the screen again. So, during Shah Rukh’s AskMe session on Saturday, a fan tried to ask the actor if he could take some money and release Joan immediately.
“Brother, 100-200 more #jawan kal hi release kar do movie,” the fan tweeted to Shahrukh. The star tweeted and wrote, “Bhai itne mein toh OTT ka subscribe nahi milta tujhe poori picture chahiye!! #Joanne. “

Gauan is directed by Atlee, who is known for mentoring Tamil mass movement activists like Theri, Mersal and Bijil. The film will mark his India debut, alongside actors Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Shahrukh said that Jawan is a “new kind of genre” for him.
“For me at least it’s a new kind of genre. Marriage is an attempt to bring two methods of filmmaking side by side,” tweeted Special Representative Atlee. The star also paid tribute to Nayanthara and Vijay and said that collaborating with them was a learning experience.
“He is a humble person and a brilliant actor. I learned a lot from Vijay,” Shahrukh tweeted to actor Farzi. “She is beautiful…so sweet and a wonderful person to work with. A pleasure,” he wrote of Nayanthara.
Jawan is scheduled to be released on September 7. The film also features Deepika Padukone in a cameo and is said to star Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role – as father and son. It will be Shah Rukh’s second release of the year after Pathan, which broke all records at the box office upon its January release.
Then the actor will end the year with Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, set for release in December.
