Agartala: Known for its holistic approach to treatment, homeopathy will first reach the people of Tripura in a more advanced version with the government considering establishing a medical college of homeopathy under AYUSH services in the state soon.
With two medical colleges currently operating in the state, tripura does not have any homeopathic medical colleges as per the latest report of the central board of indian medicine. Therefore, the government is working hard to launch many of the best homeopathic medical colleges in the state.
Homeopathy (or homeopathy) is a 200-year-old form of alternative medicine that claims to stimulate a healing response and strengthen the body’s ability to heal itself. Those who practice it claim that it is a holistic system of medicine based on the “like-like” healing theory. It is claimed to stimulate the body’s healing response to disease, using specially formulated, highly diluted preparations.

The announcement was made by Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha during a statewide orientation for healthcare providers in Ayush on homeopathic healthcare for mothers and children at Rabindra Sataparshiki Bhavan in Agartala on Thursday morning. He said the state government is considering opening a homeopathic medical college in the coming days.
The proposal to establish a homeopathic college was discussed during a meeting with the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavya and the vice president of the state. Aside from that, it also came down to the corridor of Ayush’s ministry.
This is one step taken by the state government to fulfill the dream of having a homeopathic medical college though the proposal is pending to be approved as of now. Meanwhile, if the state erects one, it will be an occasion for the aspirants to celebrate. In the absence of one in their state, aspirants are forced to take admission in a homeopathic medical school in another state.
“Along with Allopathy and Ayurveda, Homeopathy is also effective in keeping people healthy including mother and child. Our government is working with multifaceted plans to expand the homeopathy system,” Dr. Saha said on Twitter.
while talking with east mojoDr. Saha said, “We have plans to set up a homeopathic medical college here in Tripura because many people in our state believe in this modality. Whatever the field of medicine, the main objective of the government is to make the treatment available to everyone.”
He said that the current government did not mix state development and politics, unlike the left. We don’t mix politics with other things. When the left was in power, politics was the main driving force for everything. Even health professionals and doctors have not been spared from its narrow policies. Today, this culture has been uprooted from the country,” said Dr Saha.
Referring to the history of India, Dr Saha said, “Once upon a time India was a hub for all kinds of education and research. Institutions like Nalanda and Takshashila were established here and scholars from all over the world used to visit this country to gain knowledge. On the other hand, parents of today feel proud if Their children were studying abroad. This glory must be restored again and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working in this direction.”
Homeopathy is a form of treatment that was founded by Samuel Hahnemann in the 18th century. According to the Association of Homeopaths, homeopathy is based on the theory of “homeopathy with homeopathy” and on the observation that the symptoms of a disease are similar to those experienced by a healthy person being treated for that disease. Homeopathic remedies are produced by diluting (diluting) an active substance that causes similar symptoms in the belief that this will reduce the potential for harm.
