Nikola Jokic is one of the best NBA centers of all time. He can do everything on earth and he is a triple machine. However, the only blow to his career is the lack of championships.
He’s been the big man for the NBA’s Denver Nuggets since 2015. He’s won several awards, including two Most Valuable Player awards, but he’s never won a championship.
If the Nuggets don’t win it all in 2023, the superstar might ask for a deal. Several NBA teams would suit him perfectly if he decided to take his talents elsewhere.

#1 – Boston Celtics
Like Nikola Jokic, the Boston Celtics have not won a championship in recent years. The Celtics came close to winning it all in 2022, but lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games.

There are rumors that Jaylen Brown may be leaving the Celtics. Given that he’s under contract for next year, Boston could use him to acquire Jokic in the trade. Al Horford is a great part of the team, but he’ll be 37 soon, so his promotion to Jokic makes a lot of sense.
#2 – Miami Heat
Bam Adebayo is one of the best two-way players in the league, but the Miami Heat still need another center back. Adebayo is more of a forward, which is why adding Nikola Jokic would make a lot of sense.
The Heat is another Eastern Conference team that plays hard and competes every year. The addition of Jokic would make them the favorites to win the conference, although Miami may not be able to get the big guy while also keeping Adebayo.
#3 – Golden State Warriors
Nikola Jokic is the best running big man in history. His impeccable playmaking skills are a big reason why the Denver Nuggets are one of the best teams in the league.
Jokic’s addition to the Golden State will make the warriors unstoppable. He’ll be surrounded by amazing shooters like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, which will make his pass numbers even higher.
#4 – Dallas Mavericks
The combination of two players from the former Yugoslavia would be great for the Dallas Mavericks. Playing Nikola Jokic alongside Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving could be a recipe for success for Mark Cuban.
Not only would the move help Doncic with another playmaker, but it would also add the bounce for Dallas. The Mavs ranked last in the league in the 2022-23 season and beat it with a 5.9 boards average.
#5 – Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns do have a position, but it simply isn’t good enough. Deandre Ayton has had several disappointing performances lately, which is why the Suns may decide to move on sooner.

Adding Nikola Jokic to the roster will make Phoenix even deadlier. They already have Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, who are incredible scorers, so there’s no doubt they’ll be even more efficient with Jokic’s playmaking.
